Online payment security
ASSIST system ensures payment security by using the TLS protocol to transfer confidential information from the client to the ASSIST server for further processing. The server certificate is issued by Thawte Company, a recognized DC issuer.
Further transfer of information is performed via closed high-protection banking networks.
The client confidential data received in encrypted form (card details, registration data, etc.) are processed on a secure high-tech server of the processing company. Thus, no one, even the seller, can obtain personal and bank data, including other-store purchases, of the client.
During the operation, you will be additionally redirected to the Issuing Bank page to enter the confirmation security code (in case the bank that issued your card supports 3DSecure technology and your card also supports this program).
3D Secure is the procedure of additional authentication of the cardholder to ensure guaranteed security of bank-card payments on the Internet.
The 3DSecure technology solution has its own brand in each of the payment systems:
- Verified by Visa – for cards used within Visa Int.
- MasterCard Secure Code – for cards issued within MasterCard Int
Regardless of the name, 3DSecure technology involves an online transaction secure session and allows the cardholder users to confirm the validity of the transaction for the Bank that issued the card.
